The National Institute of Informatics (NII) which is one of the administrators of Rakuten Data Release held the event “IDR User Forum 2017” on December 4th, 2017. NII connects companies who provide data with the users of the data, and IDR is the Informatics Research Data Repository. The forum was held as an event for interaction between data providers and users.

Yu Hirate, a Principal Scientist of Rakuten Institute of Technology, participated in a panel discussion as a panelist.

Rakuten Institute of Technology presented the “Rakuten Award” – one of the corporate awards – to students who presented a poster.
