Rakuten Institute of Technology at CareCity 2019

2019.04.18

Back in February, the 2nd CareCity exhibition was held at Tokyo Big Sight (formally known as Tokyo International Exhibition Center), and Rakuten Institute of Technology were there to attend and present. The event brings together people from a variety of different backgrounds to discuss and share ideas on various aspects of town development, including technologies and services that support a super-aged society. For example, some of the areas actively featured were regional comprehensive care and quality of life infrastructure.

Masaya Mori, Global Head of Rakuten Institute of Technology, and Hiromi Ochiai, one of our coordinators, attended to hear the latest news happening in the field, and took the stage to present as well. The title of the presentation was Toward a City Friendly to Elderly People with Logistics and Customer Service, and they talked about the possibilities of creating a better society for elderly people by utilizing the latest advancements in robotics and digital signage.

We would like to thank the organizers for a great event and the chance to present. We look forward to the next event!
