Masaya Mori Presents at Japan Tech Leaders Summit
Japan Tech Leaders Summit is a conference in Tokyo for corporate decision makers and deep tech startup founders. The summit is an international event that brings together English speaking, internationally minded Japanese corporates and startups with foreign companies to build new business opportunities. The theme of the summit this time was “Industry 5.0” and covered presentations and discussions about the next generation in AI, blockchain, and robotics.
Masaya Mori, the global head of Rakuten Institute of Technology, presented in a segment on the future of retail automation, focusing on new ways that shoppers will start interacting with stores. One of the main topics was Rakuten Institute of Technology’s collaboration with physical retail stores exploring digital fitting rooms with remote fashion advisory, and how this could help effectivize the industry and pave the way for a fully automatic system based on AI advisors.
We would like to thank the organizers for the invitation, as well as all the other speakers and attendees for a very informative and great event. We already look forward to the next one.
