Computer Science Special Lecture at University of Tsukuba

Two researchers from Rakuten Institute of Technology, Soh Masuko (Principal Scientist) and Mitsuru Nakazawa (Research Scientist) gave special lectures about “E-commerce and Social Media” at the University of Tsukuba on February 2nd to 3rd, 2018.
This is the fifth time that Rakuten Institute of Technology has held special lectures at the University of Tsukuba.

Masuko lectured on AR/VR, and Nakazawa covered Depth Sensing.

There were approximately 50 people attending who are postgraduate school students at the University of Tsukuba, majoring in Engineering or Computer Science.

We discussed the future of e-commerce in lectures and workshops. In the workshop, the students had group discussions and gave presentations.
