As part of our research at the Rakuten Institute of Technology, Responsible AI is one of the primary focuses. Through collaboration with all AI-related stakeholders, our objective is to enhance the safety, fairness, and transparency of AI within the Rakuten Group.

Our activities encompass the following:

– Developing guidelines for AI construction and evaluation

– Establishing AI evaluation tools and processes

– Researching on AI safety, fairness, bias, transparency, and explainability

– Educating internal stakeholders about Responsible AI initiatives
