Research on LLMs Accepted at Web Conference 2025 Short Paper Track

2025.01.30

Big congratulations to Mohamed Islem Kara Bernou, Aghiles Salah, and Alexandru Tarar from the Rakuten Institute of Technology in Paris for having their paper on LLMs for cross-domain recommendation accepted to the short paper track at The Web Conference 2025 (formerly WWW)!

In their work titled “Investigating Cross-Domain Capabilities of LLMs in Two-Stage Recommender Systems,” they explore how LLMs can enhance cross-domain recommendations – leveraging user preferences from one domain (e.g., Books) to recommend items in another (e.g., Movies). They propose a two-stage approach combining LLMs and collaborative filtering, yielding promising results while highlighting areas for further research. Exciting potential for cross-domain recommendations!

This amazing work will be presented at The Web Conference 2025 in Sydney, Australia, from April 28 to May 2, 2025.
